2.5 lbs ground turkey 93% lean2 packages Eckrich Skinless Turkey Smoked Sausage45 oz Ragu Traditional pasta sauce 50 oz Gia Russa tomato sauce 1 cup chopped onion2 cloves garlic 1 can mushroom stems & pieces1 jar button mushrooms3 tbsp sea salt 1 tbsp black pepper 1 tbsp oregano 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 2 tbsp Smart Balance Cooking Oil (by SNOOPYMOWING) 2 tsp white sugar
1. Saute ground turkey, chopped onion and garlic in cooking oil until lightly browned; season with salt and black pepper.
2. Cut up smoked sausage into 1/2-inch slices then in half.
3. Drain excess oil from meat and add pasta sauce, tomato sauce, sausage, mushrooms and olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, oregano and sugar to taste.
4. Let simmer for 3-4 hours.
5. Boil your favorite long pasta and top with sauce. Garnish with grated Parmesan or Romano cheese.
