4 large Egg Yolk 5 cup Milk Whole Vitamin D .5 cup Granulated Sugar 8 fl oz Rum .1 tsp Cinnamon, ground .1 tsp Nutmeg, ground 1.25 tsp Vanilla Extract .1 tsp Salt
Heat up milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat. (Do not boil.)
Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, beat egg yolks and sugar until fully combined and foamy.
Add hot milk and vanilla extract to egg mixture in a small, steady stream, while beating constantly.
Stir rum into the mixture and add a pinch or two of salt.
Pour into mugs and top with cinnamon and nutmeg.
