Ingredients
Directions
4 serving Pomi chopped tomato (1/2 cup 125Mlserv.) (by INGMARIE) 3 cup Pomi Tomato Sauce-strained (by SUZYDAVE2) 2 cup Tomato, canned, peeled whole, no salt added (by SPACEYSTACY) 0.5 cup Tomato Paste 1.5 cup, chopped Onions, raw 6 clove Garlic 2 tsp Oregano, ground 1 dash Salt 1 fl oz Whiskey 2 tsp Lee and Perkins Worchestershire sauce reduced sodium (by ALGROVE1) 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Chop all of the desired vegetables. Chopping the onion into larger pieces will make the sauce chunky, while dicing the onion into smaller pieces will make the sauce smoother. Mince the garlic.
Heat oil in the pan you wish to use for the spaghetti sauce. Saute both the onion and garlic on high heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly to ensure the onion and garlic are heated evenly. Add the Worcestershire sauce, whiskey, oregano, and salt, and reduce heat to simmer, continuing to stir the vegetables frequently to evenly distribute the seasoning. When the onions become transparent, add the chopped tomato, strained sauce, and whole tomatoes. Stir the sauce occasionally to ensure vegetables are distributed throughout the sauce. Once the sauce is steaming, add the tomato paste ensuring the paste is thoroughly mixed throughout the sauce.
Simmer on low for 20 minutes.
