Southwest Black Bean Soup

7 cup Beans, black 8 tbsp Wegman's Medium Salsa (by ESOTERICNEBULA) 3 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 1 tbsp Chili powder 1 tsp Cumin seed 2 fl oz Lime Juice 0.67 cup Vegetables, Kroger Recipe Beginnings, Mirepoix (by MAMAFLETCH) 1 tbsp Olive Oil
1. Saute the mirepoix (vegtables) in olive oil for 2-3 minutes until soften.
2. Add cumin and chili powder and cook for about another minute.
3. Add beans, water, salsa, and salt to taste.
4. Bring to a boil, and simmer for ten minutes.
5. Take off from heat, add lime juice, allow to cool.
6. Use an emersion blender, to blend up the vegetables and beans.
Leaves some chunks. A blender is also good.
7. Serve, or reheat for later.
