Eye of Round Steak

Ingredients
2 lb Beef, round steak 6 oz Alcohol, Wine Red (Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon) 1 tsp (C) Garlic, minced (by SHEILAHARVILLE) 2 serving Mushrooms, Fresh, White Button, Sliced (3 oz / 85g) 1 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter, unsalted
Directions
Place steaks in a ziplock back, pour 6 oz. of Cabernet Sauvignon over them & marinate all day.

Remove from marinade, place on grill or broiler covered with garlic. Cooked to desired color. Set aside to rest.

Wash mushrooms, melt butter in pan & sauté.

Serve steak with mushrooms on top & glass of Cabernet.

I prefer crimini mushrooms.
I used a Black Label Reserve from Clarksburg, CA. You can use any brand. Two buck chuck also does well as steak marinade.
