wheat blend pancakes with flax and chia seeds

Ingredients
1 cup Aunt Jemima Whole Wheat Blend (by DCPRICE) 1 tbsp Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil 1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 1 cup Milk, 1% 1 tbsp *Flax Seed Meal (ground flax) 1 tbsp Chia Seeds Nature's Earthly Choice
Directions
Mix pancake mix, egg, milk, oil, Ground Flax seed, and Chia seed in container until mixed well. Let sit for a minuet or two to thicken. Cook as any other pancake.

Serving Size: 1 serving is 3- 4" pancakes

    How can the fiber content be higher than the total carbs - am I missing something? I never thought to add chia seeds and flax to the prepackaged pancake mix, but that is a great idea. - 4/19/17
