Creamy Parmesan & Garlic Pasta with Sausage/Keilbalsa

16 oz. Barilla Plus Elbows Noodles 1 lb. Eckrich Smoked Sausage 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 3 tbsp Butter, salted 1 tbsp (C) Garlic, minced (by SHEILAHARVILLE) 0.5 tsp Crushed Red Pepper (by BACORONA) 2 tbsp Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour 1 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth 1 cup Carnation Evaporated Milk Vitamin D added (canned milk) 1.5 cup GV Grated Parmesan Cheese
Cook pasta according to package directions. In a large saute' pan over medium-low heat, saute' garlic in olive oil and butter briefly. Stir in pepper flakes, then stir in flour and saute for one minute. Stir in broth and half and half; bring to a simmer then lower heat and stir until thickened. Add Kielbasa and heat through. Season with salt and pepper. Pour sauce over cooked pasta and garnish with Parmesan - You can also garnish with chives and chopped tomatoes.
