Ingredients
32.0 oz Pork, fresh, loin, center loin (chops), bone-in, separable lean and fat, cooked, braised10.0 serving Broth, chicken: College Inn, Light & Fat Free, 50% less Sodium, Chicken Broth, 1 cup/serv24.0 oz Alcohol, Wine Red (Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon)6.0 small (1-3/4" to 2-1/2" dia.) Baked Potato, with skin2.0 serving Mushrooms, Fresh, White Button, Sliced (3 oz / 85g)2.0 serving Blimpie Hot Peppers (per/oz.)4.0 tbsp Salt2.0 tsp Raw Sugar - Sugar in the Raw4.0 tbsp Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar5.0 tsp Lime Juice - ReaLime 100% Lime Juice
Directions
If braising in oven using a Dutch oven pot- preheat oven to 275 Brown pork chops and remove from heat Slice peppers (I actually used jarred cherry peppers) Cut mini potatoes into quarters Cut pork into 1/2-1 inch cubes Combine all ingredients, saving half a cup of wine (I used medeira) Slow cook covered on low or in oven for 5hrs, checking every couple hours to skim fat. Remove from oven and skim fat again Add remaining wine and bring to boil Cook uncovered for 15-20 min on low flame.
