1.50 cup Bob's Red Mill Whole Grain Red Bulgar 1/4 Cup 2 cup Homemade Chicken stock 0.25 tsp Trader Joe's Everyday Seasoning Grinder (by WOLFKITTY) 0.25 tsp Lawry’s Seasoning Salt (by DARLAJEAN1) 100 gram(s) Heirloom tomato (by JCPRUITT313) 2 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Toast Bulgar over the fire at medium heat in a pot with a thick bottom(no burning). This should take no more than two minutes add a bit of olive oil (1 tsp) and stir. Add whatever seasoning you would like to the Bulgar then add the liquid which is 2 cups of stock and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil then cover and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook until all the liquid is gone (12 minutes). If you use the exact amount of water no draining needed. While your Bulgar is cooking stir fire you tomatoes, pepper, onions, garlic and any other veggie you'd like to add also add seasoning to this stir fry. When the Bulgar is finished you will add the stir fry to it and fluff with a large fork please taste and and whatever flavoring you'd like. I like chilli peppers for a kick! Enjoy!
