Crockpot French Onion Soup

8 large Onions, raw .5 cup Butter, salted 6 can (10.5 oz), prepared Soup, beef broth, bouillon, consomme, prepared with equal volume water, commercial 1.5 tsp Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce 3 serving Bay leaves dried (serving size 1 leave) (by BMAKEDA) 10 slice, small (2" x 2-1/2" x 1- Bread, french or vienna (includes sourdough) 10 serving Kroger Provolone Cheese, Smoked flavored (sliced)
Sauté onions in butter until tender but crisp.
Ad broth, Worcester sauce and bay leaves.
Cook on low for 5-7 hours or until onions are tender.
Remove Bay Leaves.
Ladle into bowls.
Top each with a slice of toasted bread and cheese.
Put under the broiler for a few minutes until the cheese is brown and bubbly.
Serving Size: 1/10 of recipe
