Watermelon Granita

5 cups diced & seeded watermelon1/2 cup, plus 2 Tbsp granulated sugar2 Tbsp lime juice
Put watermelon in blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Pour into mixing bowl. Add sugar and lime juice. Stir with wooden spoon until sugar is completly dissolved. Transfer mixture to freezer. After 30 minutes, scrap sides of bowl with fork and stir mixture. Place back into freeze, and repeat every 30 minutes, for about 4 hours, or until desired consistancy is achieved. Makes 8 1/2-cup servings.
