Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 1/2 cups white flour1 cup whole wheat flour1 tsp. baking soda1/2 tsp. salt1 cup soft margarine1/2 cup of white sugar1/2 cup of brown sugar2 eggs1 tsp. vanilla extract1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 or 175C. In a bowl combine flour, soda and salt. In another bowl beat the margarine, white sugar and brown sugar together until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture, beating until smoothly. Beat in the vanilla. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop batter by tablespoon unto ungreased cookie sheet three inches apart. Bake 12 mins. until golden brown. Makes 4 doz. cookies
