Paleo Sweet Potato Chili

3 sweet potatoes (peeled and chopped). 3 cups broth (use less for more Chili texture)1 lb ground lean turkey14 oz diced canned tomatoes (drained)1 cup chopped white onion1 can tomato sauce1/2 jar of salsa1 Tbsp tomato paste1/4 tsp cumin1/2 tsp paprika1/2 tsp basil1/4 tsp black peppersea salt to taste
First chop and peel your potatoes. Place in a microwave safe bowl and steam with 1 tbsp water for 90 seconds.
Next, brown the ground turkey
Add the remaining ingredients to the ground turkey and sweet potatoes.
Bring pot to boil then stir and simmer on low for 30-60 minutes.
Add more paprika and or black pepper/sea salt when finished cooking if desired.
