Beef Barley and Mushroom Stew

Ingredients
1 tbsp Grapeseed Oil 454 grams Beef, bottom sirloin, tri-tip roast, trimmed 2 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth .75 cup, chopped Carrots, raw .75 cup, sliced Onions, raw 3 clove Garlic 3 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, fresh 100 gram(s) barley pot(1/4 cup) (by CHIC2127) .5 tsp Salt, Sifto Table Salt (by FAREWELLBC) .5 tsp Mrs. Dash (R) Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend .2 tsp Black Pepper, Freshly Ground (by MEJ168) 4 fl oz Red Wine .45 serving Trader Joes Coco Powder unsweetened, 1 Tbsp (by WIECZOREK)
Directions
heat oil. add aromatics and herbs, salt & pepper. When onion tranluscent add beef and brown. Continue sauteing until all caramelized. Add broth, coco pwder and barley, bring to a boil the reduce heat to simmer. Simmer about 90 minutes. Remove from heat and let rest about an hour. Reheat to serve
