Ingredients
16.0 oz Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean4.0 cup Ragu Mushroom Pasta Sauce0.5 large Onions, raw4.0 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper0.5 cup Oat meal - Quaker quick2.0 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
Directions
The stuffing comes from a turkey meatloaf recipe I make, except I didn't have ketchup on hand and used pasta sauce. Simply combine the turkey, oats, eggs, onion, and your choice of seasonings (I used adobo powder and parsley myself) inside 4 green peppers that have been hollowed out. I put the peppers into my slow cooker on high and poured the balance of the sauce jar on top of the peppers. I set the pepper tops aside to use for a salad later. Cook on high for 4 hours.
