Wedding Stew

1lb Beef Chuck, chopped into bite size pieces16oz Red Wine, any cheap table wine will work1 Large Potato, chopped1 Large Carrot, chopped1 Large Onion, chopped1 5" Sweet Potato, choppedSalt and pepper to taste
Lightly spray the inside of a large saucepan.
On a medium heat brown the beef and onions, until the onions are transparent.
Next add the red wine in small amounts, then all other ingredients. If the wine does not completly cover other ingredients, add a little water until its level.
Stir well and bring to boil then reduce heat to low and cover.
Let cook for about 4 hours on a low heat. Stir occasionally to prevent possible sticking and add a little more water if necessary.
