Red beans and rice with andouille

Ingredients
1 40.5 oz can Hanover Kidney Beans Light Red 4 Aidells Cajun Style Andouille Smoked Pork Sausage links, sliced. 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 1 cup, shredded Cheddar Cheese 1 serving Green Onion (fresh-1 stalk) 3 cup White Rice, long grain, cooked 3 bay leaves1 tsp minced garlic1 tbl oregano1 serving Green Onion (fresh-1 stalk)
Directions
Cook onions in water until soft. Brown andouille and drain off fat. Simmer onions, andouille, beans, garlic, bay leaves, oregano and andouille together for at least 20 minutes. The longer the better. Serve on a bed of rice and top with grated cheese and green onion
