2 sticks margarine, at room temperature1c. dark brown sugar, packed1/2c. sugar2 eggs, at room temperature1Tbsp. vanilla extract1 3/4c. flour1tsp. baking soda1/2tsp. salt2 1/2c. rolled oats1Tbsp. water1Tbsp. cinnamon1c. milk chocolate chips1c. dried cranberries (I use Ocean Spray Craisins)
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a cookie sheet. Place butter and sugars in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth and creamy. Add eggs, mixing after each one. Add vanilla and water and mix until just combined. In another bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, salt, oats and cinnamon. Combine with the sugar mixture and beat until well mixed. Place by tablespoon onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake 12-13 minutes or until browned on the edges and soft in the middle. Do not overbake. Cool cookie sheet between batches.
