Ingredients
Directions
1 serving Egg white, large 1.25 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 1 serving Cooking spray- Pam Butter flavor .25 cup Applesauce, sweetened 1 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour .25 cup Milk Whole Vitamin D
Pour all ingredients in a bowl and use a wire whisk to mix them into a runny batter. Spray a 10" skillet with Pam and heat skillet over medium heat. Pour about a half cup of batter into the hot skillet and
balance the skillet so the batter will form a round crepe. Let it fry for about 45 seconds or so and flip crepe. If the side is still "too pale" brown it a little more until it it has golden brown "spots".
Remove from skillet onto a plate, add about 1 1/2 teaspoonful onto crepe, spread all over and roll it up. Serving suggestion is 2 crepes.
A filling breakfast or lunch option. These crepes are prepared without sugar. The sweetness in the applesauce makes up for it.
As an alternative add some fresh chives or parsley to the batter and for people that don't have to worry about high blood pressure add some pepper and salt for seasoning. Once they are fried roll them up and cut them into 1/4" strips and add them to a cup of beef or chicken broth.
Serving Size: Makes 5 to 6 seven inch crepes
Number of Servings: 5
