Instead of the red wine vinegar, we use a can of beef broth. We serve these over egg noodles for a delicious meal. - 7/11/10

Turned out real good. Meat fell off bone. I did place them in the oven after cooking & topped with bbq sauce to get the caramelized flavor. - 8/13/11

I used 3/4 cup of water and baby's ray brown sugar and hickory smoked bbq sauce. Cooked them for 6 hours and when I went to lift them out some of the bones fell out!! So resorted to using a slotted spoon. These are sooooo good. Will definitely make them again. Had them with white rice.

First off, I have had a slow cooker for 5 years that I have never used because I did not really know what to do with it. Second, short ribs were on sale at my local market. I saw this recipe and thought it looked doable. It was flavorful, juicy, deliciousness. Just wonderful. Thanks. - 2/14/10

I used low sodium worcestershire and a bit less vinegar. - 8/10/20

Wow! What great flavour. And the slow cooker makes the meat fall off the bones. We served the short ribs with garden fresh carrots & beets. Plus fresh homemade whole grain bread. We will definitely make this recipe again👍🏻 - 9/12/19

I made this recipe sugar free I made my own Worcestershire Sauce with Low Sodium Soy Sauce, lemon juice, hot sauce, and Truvia natural sugar sweetner. I used G Hughes Sugar Free BBQ Sauce. I don't like ribs that are too goopy. These were perfect. - 5/26/19

This was easy and delicious. I didn't brown. I put it on for 6 hours and that was more than enough but my crock pot is fast. - 4/27/13
