.4 stick Butter, salted 4 tsp Garlic 424 gram Italian Bread, Marketside (1/8 loaf, 53g)
Oven 400 degrees. Place lengthwise sliced loaf cut side up on a baking sheet. Bake 5 minutes or until sliced side is firm. Meanwhile melt 2 ounces of butter. Add small cubes of 2 ounces of butter to melted butter and stir. Add garlic. Brush cut surface of bread. Turn cut side down on baking sheet and press down with a second baking sheet. Return to over for 5 minutes or so until cut side is golden brown.
