Ingredients
Directions
2 cups flour 1 cup of sugar1 cup+ chopped walnuts (my dad throws in 1.5 cups, yum I was doing the original 1 cup)1 tsp Baking Soda half stick Butter, unsalted, melted 1 large Egg 4 bananas
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
Melt butter in a mixing bowl on low heat.
Carefully work in dry ingredients into butter, add egg and bananas and mix well.
Bake in a greased, wax paper- lined loaf pan 350F for at least an hour. Check with a toothpick, it should come out clean.
Try to let it cool a moment before you dig in for that first warm, delicious, slice.
My friends at work love this so for parties I slice it thin then slice those in half and arrange on a serving tray so everyone can get a piece. At home I like a thick slice warmed up and hot cup of tea.
