1.0 medium Carrots, raw0.5 cup kernels Yellow Sweet Corn, Frozen2.0 clove Garlic1.0 cup Split Peas0.5 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil2.0 cup vegetable broth, Simple Truth organic1.0 cup chicken broth, simple truth organic free range2.0 serving Simple Truth uncured hardwood smoked turkey bacon
Sort through peas. Pick out any stones or partial shell fragments. Rinse peas thoroughly in a strainer. Heat olive oil in a medium sized pot over medium. Add bacon to pot. Chop garlic and carrot finely, and add to the olive oil and bacon. Sautee for approximately 10 minutes. Add broth, corn, and peas. Bring to a boil, lower heat to medium, and simmer for an hour. Serve.
