Lebanese rice pilaf

Ingredients
1/2 cup White Rice 1/4 cup angel hair pasta 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil1 cup Chicken stock1/2 tsp onion powder1/2 tsp garlic powder1/2 tsp salt
Directions
Break up pasta as small as possible. Maybe use a small electric chopper. Heat oil in pot on medium and add broken pasta. Stir frequently till it's light brown in color. Add rice and mix, toasting for about 3-5 minutes. Add seasonings and mix in. Add stock and stir. Bring to low boil, without lid, for 10 minutes. Add more broth as needed. Cover and simmer on low for about 10 minutes, checking after 5 if more broth is needed. It's ready when doneness is to your satisfaction.
