Bologenese sauce

Ingredients
16 oz Ground Beef (80/20 mix) 4 oz (112 g) / serving (by LIGHTSHIPBRU) 6 serving Johnsonville Hot Italian Link Sausage - 1 link 3 cup Tomatoes, red, ripe, canned, whole, no salt added 4 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Red Ripe Tomatoes 0.25 cup Tomato Paste 2 serving Marscapone cheese / 1 oz (by NOOMEE2) 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 5 clove Garlic 3 tbsp Olive Oil 2 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, fresh 3 tbsp Basil 2 tsp Mint, dried (by DOOBRIE) 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (by TORI7HARRISON) 4 dash Salt 4 dash Pepper, black 1 tsp Sugar - C&H Pure Cane Granulated White Sugar
Directions
Heat up the olive oil... brown the beef and italian sausage (break into small pieces). Add onion and garlic and let them cook about 5 minutes, add the mushrooms and let them cook down a bit. Add tomato paste and mix it into the mixture well. Add the tomatoes (make sure they are crushed by hand 1st). Let everything come to a boil and reduce to a simmer for about 25 minutes. I season each step with the spices( basil, mint, pepper, crushed chilli flakes, salt). Add a tsp of sugar towards the end. Stir in the marscapone cheese at the end.
