454 gram(s) chana dal (bengal gram) (by NEETUJ) 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 2 tbsp Coconut Oil - Nutiva Organic Extra-Virgin Coconut Oil 8 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 1 tbsp Curry powder 1 serving coriander powder (by NITAINMN) 2 tsp Turmeric, ground 0.5 tsp Cayenne Pepper (Ground) 0.5 tsp Pepper, black 1 tsp Pink Himalayan Sea Salt (Evolution Salt Co) (by TAMMAGDALENO) 1 cup Coconut Milk (Silk) 3 tsp Ginger Root
1. Bring the water and salt to a boil in a large pot.
2. Add lentils and cook covered until soft, stirring often to prevent sticking to the bottom. Remove from heat.
3. Heat oil in a pan. Saute the chopped onion until golden. Add in the spices, saute for a minute, then stir into the pot of lentils until completely incorporated. Serve with quinoa for a complete protein meal!
