Crunchy Szechuan Green Beans

Ingredients
1 Tbls OLIVE OIL6 cups GREEN BEANS1/3 cup ONION, coarsely chopped1/4 cup HOISIN SAUCE2 Tbls SOY SAUCE1 Tbls SESAME OIL, Dark (Asian)1 Tbls WATER, more as needed3 cloves GARLIC, minced1 tsp FRESH GINGER, minced1 tsp SUGAR1/4 tsp RED PEPPER FLAKESToasted SESAME SEEDS, garnish
Directions
Heat the olive oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beans and onions, cook, stirring occassionally, until the beans are crisp-tender and blackened in spots - about 5-10 minutes.

Meanwhile, in small bowl combine the remaining ingredients (except sesame seeds). Sauce should be a cake batter consistency.

Remove the beans from the heat. Add the sauce and stir until the beans are evenly coated.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
