20 oz lean beef stew1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, chopped 1 tbsp Olive Oil .75 cup Barley, pearled, raw 1 16 oz bag frozen italian vegtables (zuccini, cauliflower, carrots, beans and peppers) 1.5 cup pieces Mushrooms, fresh chopped fresh parsley, 1/2 cup chopped fresh green onions'garlicsaltpepperdried thyme
Brown Beef and onions in Olive oil. Place all other ingredients in crock pot, top with browned beef. Add water to cover (approx. 6 cups). Season to taste. Cook for 8 hours on low.
