Ingredients
Stick of margarine1 cup peanut butter (I use Skippy Natural Creamy)3/4 cup Organic granulated sugar1/2 cup Brown Sugar1 large egg1 tsp. baking powder2 cups organic whole wheat flour1 cup chocolate chips** I have used organic and nonorganic ingredients & think the organic has a better pop of taste.
Directions
Preheat oven to 375. Melt butter and mix with sugars, egg and peanut butter until creamy. Blend in the baking powder, whole wheat flour and chocolate chip cookies. The mixture will be a bit sticky. Roll dough small balls, place on an ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork. Bake the cookies about 10 - 12 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool about 15 minutes and they taste wonderful warn and melty. Excellent cooled too!!
Makes 36 cookies about 2-3 inches in diameter

They were pretty good. By the time I was getting the third sheet ready for the oven, the dough became too crumbly to hold together so I had to add a little milk so that it would ball up. (Maybe weather was too warm?) Tasted OK to me, better next day. My friend said she loved them. - 4/25/09

    (1) stick of margarine, I would think that would put you past allowable fat grams - 7/8/08
