2 cup Whole Wheat Flour .5 cup Wheat flour, white, bread, enriched 2 tsp Active Dry Yeast (by GRTMOMX3) 6 tsp Granulated Sugar 1 cup Milk, 1% 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
Using Kitchen Aid mixer, Place flours, yeast, sugar & salt in mixing bowl. Stir in heated (110 degrees) MILK, mix. Add oil and egg, mix. Beat for 2 minutes med high, on low speed add flour to get dough to stick to sides of bowl. Place dough on floured surface and knead by hand 50 turns. COVER and let rest 10 min. Shape dough into a loaf and place in a greased 8.5 x 4.5x 2.75-inch loaf pan. Cover and let rise in a warm spot until it's one inch taller than the pan, about 36 min. Meantime, preheat oven to 350-375. Bake for 30 minutes. You can cover top with foil to prevent overbrowning.
