This was delicious! My kids loved it! I followed some other people here and only used 1/2 the onion soup and that was perfect! Also added a can of mushrooms - 1/11/10

I recently got a crockpot and have been trying out a bunch of new recipes... this has been by far my favorite! It is sooo simple to make, and it is so creamy and filling, I forget that I am on a diet. I definitely think it will become a weekly meal... and it makes a ton of food! - 1/8/10

Super easy and fast to do...I love it...added mushrooms to it but would definitely use only half of the soup mix envelop - 10/4/09

AWESOME! I had to improvise- didn't have all of the ingredients. I put in 1/2 pack onion soup, 4 oz cream cheese,1/2 C white cooking wine, and 1 1/2 cans of cream of mushroom then added broccoli and mushrooms. Super yummy served over a small amount of egg noodles. 4 WW points w/out the egg nood - 5/6/12

I'm making this now and it smells yummy! Used 1/2 packet of soup mix and added mushrooms. Can't wait for dinner! - 8/25/10

Not bad! I made a few small modifications (cut the chicken into cubes, added some garlic powder/pepper/celery/carrots, and only used 1/2 soup mix packet). I'm not sure the calorie count is right here (it seems like the original recipe only calls for one chicken breast;I used two). I'd make it again - 1/24/10

I have made this in the past, gotthe recipe off that website a few years ago. Super simple and easy to make. I even made it for an ex-BF who loved it and he is sometimes picky with food. I would serve it over rice. Makes me want to make it again! - 12/16/09

I used a can of ff cream of celery and then added a large can of sliced mushrooms. Served it all over egg noodles. My 4 & 5 year old kids don't like mushrooms much but they loved this. Will definitely make again. - 10/26/09

Yum, made this today. I actually doubled up on the soup as I was concerned that the liquid would cook away as I knew it would be closer to 9 hours before anyone would be around to check on it. Turned out delicious, but barely had leftovers for my lunch tomorrow! - 1/6/14

I made this or dinner the other night and it was delicious! I used regular chicken breast cut into 1 inch squares. I also added a bag of frozen broccoli and 2 cans of mushrooms drained. - 1/8/12

I will eat most anything- but this will be thrown out. It was tasteless.. I tried adding herbs and even some cajun seasoning- Nothing helped. Sorry just didn't like this at all. - 10/3/11

Even my picky son, who usually won't eat anything with a sauce on it, loved this. It's hard to find a crockpot recipe where the meat keeps its texture. This is a winner for our family. - 8/31/11

I used half the onion soup mix the recipe called for. I also ended up adding low sodium chicken stock because this was too thick. Served it over brown rice. Super easy to make. - 3/29/11

I made this with boneless porkchops instead of chicken and cream of chicken instead of cream of mushroom... Came out delicious! - 2/21/11

So easy and so yummy. My kids loved it too. We had it over whole wheat pasta. I can't wait to make it again. The house smelled so go while it was cooking. I too everyones advice and used 1/2 the Lipton soup packet. - 2/13/11

This sounds like a winner. I'm going to use reduced-sodium onion soup mix and add mushrooms. Thanks! - 11/7/10

This was so easy to make and tasted very good. I had plenty of 'sauce' left over and will make sure that I have some whole wheat pasta on hand to use it as an extra meal. Would definitely make it again! - 9/21/10

Way to much salt for me. I think i am officially giving up on crock pot recipes that include cream of anything soup in them. they all start tasting the same. - 6/30/10
