Ingredients
Directions
1 box dry yellow cake mix (I use Duncan Hines)1 20 oz. can pineapple tidbits (do not drain juice)Cool Whip Lite (optional)
Spray your Crockpot with fat-free cooking spray.
Place 1/3 of the cake mix aside. Sprinkle half of the remaining mix into the bottom of the Crockpot.
Sprinkle half of the can of pineapple on top of the cake mix.
Continue to layer the ingredients (cake mix, pineapple) until all has been used. Scatter the remaining 1/3 cake mix onto the pineapple layer.
Cover and set on High for one hour. Serve hot with 1 serving of Cool Whip Lite, if desired.
Note: if this dish does not seem to be done after 1 hour, allot an additional 30-60 minutes. This will depend on how hot your Crockpot gets. My Crockpot is very hot and it only takes 1 hour in my case. This will burn quickly if you do not watch it!
Serves 12 (3 oz. servings).
