Ginger Syrup

Ingredients
1 cup, unpacked Brown Sugar 1 cup slices (1" dia) Ginger Root 1.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
Directions
Slice ginger. Add to pot with water and brown sugar. Bring to boil and then lower heat and simmer for 45 minutes. Strain ginger. Store in bottle or jar in refrigerator.
