Baked Pork Chops w/ Mushrooms, Beans and Onions

4 pork loin chops2 cans Great Northern Beans, rinsed and drained2 onions, chopped Campbell's Healthy Request Cream of Mushroom soup1 tsp garlic powder1/3 cup watersaltpepper
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Put the onions and beans in a 9x13 baking dish. In a separate bowl, combine the soup, water, and garlic powder. Pour this mixture over the onions and beans.
Lightly sprinkle salt and pepper on one side of the pork chops. Place that side down on the mixture in the pan. Salt and pepper the other side.
Place into the oven and cook for 45 minutes.
Serves 4.

I'm not sure why everyone is raving about this one. The pork was moist, however the onion was absolutely overwelming. That was really the only flavor this dish had. It was otherwise rather bland. I added steak seasonings to the pork on my plate to try to add some flavor. It was rather blah. - 1/29/09
