Black Bean Patties

Ingredients
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained 1/2 cup onion, chopped 1 tsp garlic, minced 1 egg 1/4 cup cornmeal 2 tsp olive oil
Directions
Place 1/2 cup beans, egg, and garlic in food processor. Process until smooth. Place remaining beans in bowl and mash with fork, leave chunky. Mix in bean and egg mixture, onions, and salt to taste. Shape in patties and dredge in cornmeal. Fry in 2 tsp oil about 3 minutes on each side.
