Beef Pilau

Ingredients
8 serving Rice: Basmati Rice (half cup uncooked) (by ERINSIMONS) 17.63 oz Beef, round steak 4 serving Cloves, whole (per clove) (by GRANMACHERI) 1 tsp Cinnamon, ground 1 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf 1 tbsp Cumin seed 0.5 tsp Garam Masala (by BIGGIRL2082010) 0.5 cup (8 fl oz) Yogurt, plain, whole milk 8 serving Chillies, Green Chopped HT 2 T (by SEARCY1945) 3 serving Red Chillies (1 chillie) (by YMYSELF) 3 lemon yields Lemon Juice 3 tbsp Salt 4 tsp cardamon (by CHRYSTEL) 3 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw 4 tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste (by SOCPAGE) 4 tbsp Canola Oil 2 tbsp Canola Oil
Directions
First marinate the beef in salt , red chilies ,garlic ginger paste lemon juice for a few hours
secondly fry whole bay leaf ,cinnamon stick (1) cloves (4) ,cumin in 3 to 4 tbsp of oil then add beef and toss and then add water to make stock , at the end you should be left with 8 cups of stock , separate beef and stock
caramelize onion separate a little in an another pan then add green chilies yogurt ginger garlic paste and garam masala to the left over caramelized onion and cook and now add this to separated stock mix and bring it to boil and add rice and cook the rice till done
In another pan stir fry beef and serve it on top of the rice and the remaining caramelized onion and serve
