Applesauce Raisin Walnut Cake

1 stick Butter, unsalted 1 cup Granulated Sugar 1 cup Applesauce, unsweetened 1 cup Flour, white 1 cup Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched 1 tsp Baking Soda 1 tsp Cinnamon, ground .25 tsp Cloves, ground .5 cup (not packed) Raisins 8 tbsp chopped walnuts
Cream butter or margarine with sugar. Add applesauce and beat well. Stir in flour, baking soda, and spices. Add Raisins and nuts.
Pour batter into an 8" x 8" greased and floured baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until done. Best served warm.
