Homemade tomato soup

Ingredients
1.0 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter, salted1.0 cup, chopped Onions, raw3.0 serving Bacon, John Morrell, Hardwood Smoked Bacon (2 slices/17g)2.0 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw4.0 cup, chopped or sliced Red Ripe Tomatoes0.12 cup Flour 16.0 oz Chicken Stock0.33 tbsp Basil1.0 tbsp Salt1.0 dash Pepper, black0.5 fl. oz Sherry, dry
Directions
Saute onion, celery and bacon until soft. Add tomatoes, cook a few minutes. Stir in flour, add stock, basil, salt, pepper. Bring to boil, simmer 30 minutes, put through a blender. Return to pan and add sherry.
