Helene's Shepherd Pie

Ingredients
32 oz Ground beef, lean 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 10 oz Mushrooms: Mixed, frozen (by AZURE7SKY) 14 tbsp Gravy Mix, Brown, McCormick (by CD2600155) 3.5 cup Peas ~ Market Basket Fancy Small Early Peas 6 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) Potato, raw .2 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk) 1 tbsp country crock plant based butter
Directions
Peel and cut potatoes and boil in water. Drain cooked potatoes add butter and milk. And add salt and pepper to taste. Then either whip or mash to your preference.
Brown ground beef and onions . Drain fat. Then add mushrooms cooked for approx 5 mins add brown gravy mix and 1 cup water
Then layer in a 9" x 9" casserole
bottom layer meat mix, Then layer with 2 cans already drained peas
Then top with the masher whip potatoes
Bake in 375 degree oven enough to brown the potatoes
