Introduction

Heat olive oil. Saute scallions & garlic for 5 mins. Add vegetables and saute for 5 more minutes, add meat and brown for 10 mins.     2 garlic pieces chopped
    2 scallions chopped
    2 tbsp of olive oil
    2 carrots chopped
    2 celery stalks chopped
    1cup mushrooms
    1 cup frozen peas add at last half hour of cooking.

    I didnt notice the directions in the description so I didnt make it the same way. But I used the same ingredients, added some barely and some herbs. And it was good. I'll try it with the correct prep next time. Probably should move the directions into the designated spot. - 1/13/10

    I make a very similar recipe without the carrots & celery but deglaze the pan with white wine - delicious and it freezes very well so you can make a double batch and have Planned overs - 10/12/14
