Ingredients
1 can Pillsbury Crusty French Loaf refrigerated dough1/4 cup prepared pasta sauce2.75 Kraft reduced fat string cheese sticks (3, but one trimmed to fit)1 cup cooked seasoned lean ground turkey6 strips green bell pepper1/4 cup romano cheese
Directions
Remove dough from can, place on a very lightly greased cookie sheet and slice lengthwise almost to the bottom. Leave a little bit of connecting dough at the bottom. Open the dough. Spread the sauce evenly down the middle. Place the cheese sticks on top of that. Place the peppers along both sides of the cheese sticks. Top with the ground meat and the romano cheese. Now, bring the two edges of the dough together and pinch to seal. This is a little tricky, but do your best. Also, seal the ends. Now, roll the loaf so that the seam is on the bottom. Lightly cut a few slits across the top to let the steam out. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted. Let cool for 5 mintues before you slice and serve it.

This one rocks! Used recipe loosely, with turkey pepperoni and shredded mozzarella. It is a bi9t tough to assemble; maybe next time I'll roll the dough out a bit, but we already made twice and loved it! - 7/20/11

We both loved it. I substituted the pillsbury reduced fat crescent rolls for the french bread and it turned out fantastic. Thanks - 8/18/09

LOVED IT!! Husband had two portions which really says something! Could have used a little more sauce inside. Very Hearty and filling when paired with a salad. Make sure to season your turkey with italian seasoning and garlic. Yummy!! - 7/16/09

this was SOOO good!! I found too that it was very difficult to close (almost impossible and there was a brief moment in time where I considered giving up), but it was so worth the effort. Will definately make this again!! :) - 1/25/09

Absolutely loved this! Could have used a little more cheese and difficult to close isn't the word. It was the worst part of making it. Even my picky 3 1/2 year old wolfed it down. Which is a first if it's not mac & cheese. - 9/15/08
