Ingredients
Directions
-1 can of black beans drained, rinsed and patted dry with paper towel-1/2 can sweet corn drained-4oz can of mushrooms drained and diced-1/2 cup diced onions-1 cup bread crumbsSeasons to taste (I used Mrs. Dash, chili pepper, and garlic powder)
Combine onions, black beans and mushrooms in a food processor... mix until it is till a little chunky but still able to put into patties.
In a bowl hand stir the black bean mixture with corn, bread crumbs and seasonings.
Using hands form into round patties. I made 7 patties with my recipe.
If desired refridgerate before cooking to firm up (I left mine in fridge for about an hour, and froze the ones I wasn't going to use right away)
If grilling, spray a piece of tinfoil with Pam and place it on the grill. Place the burger on top of the tinfoil and cook over medium/high heat, for 8 minutes or until done.
If baking, place on a Pam sprayed sheet of tinfoil laying on top of a cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until done.
