Egg-free Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Margarine (non-hydrogenated) or butter, 1/2 cupCanola oil, 1/2 cupSugar, white, 3/4 cupBrown sugar, 3/4 cupVanilla extract, 1 tsp.Yogurt, plain or vanilla, 1/2 cupFlour, 2.5 cupsCornstarch, 1 Tbsp.Salt, 1 tsp.Baking soda, 1/2 tsp.Chocolate chips, 2.5 cups
Lightly spray a 9x13 pan with nonstick spray. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Soften margarine slightly (10-15 seconds in microwave), and place in large bowl. Add canola oil and brown and white sugars. Beat with electric beaters about 2 minutes, until well blended and light. Add yogurt and vanilla and beat another minute. Stir together flour, salt, cornstarch, and baking soda, then add to sugar mixture, stirring until just blended. Mix in chocolate chips. Spread into pan and bake for 30 minutes until evenly browned on top.
