Hermit Cookies

Ingredients
Beat2 eggs1/2 cup molasses1 1/2 c sugarSift together2 1/2 cups flour1 t baking soda1/2 t salt1/2 t cinnamon1/2 nutmeg1/2 ground cloves1/2 ground ginger1 c raisens (optional).
Directions
Mix all. Spread in a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 min. Cut into squares when cool.

    I was looking for a regular hermit cookie recipe, instead of a bar cookie. I added some extra liquid (spiced tea, in fact) and I had to add walnuts, and made them like regular cookies. I'll try the way suggested (with walnuts) another time. Father's Day today, they have to be right! :) They are! - 6/21/15
