Ingredients
1Tbs. olive oil2 cans (14.1oz)of broth you choose(chicken, vegetable, beef).1 can (15.25oz)Garbanzo beans, drained.1 can (15.25oz) kidney beans, drained.1 can (14.5oz) Italian-style stewed tomatoes, drained.2 cups swiss chard (cooked)1/2 cup small pasta (shells)1 medium onion, coarsely chopped2 cloves garlic finely chopped or 1/2 tsp minced garlic in a jar1/4 tsp Italian seasoning1/4 tsp white pepperGarnish fresh basil, crushed red pepper , grated hard cheese, optional
Directions
In medium saucepan cook onion and garlic in oil 3-5 minutes, until onions tender and translucent. Add the rest of the ingredients except basil: bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered 10-13 minutes or until pasta is done. Serve with garnish.
Recommend using low sodium products.
