Ingredients
8 (9x14 inch) sheets frozen phyllo dough, thawed1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese3/4 cup shredded reduced fat italian four cheese blend1/2 onion sliced thin3/4 pound , about 1 medium tomato1/2 teaspoon Mrs. Dash garlic and herb seasoning blend2 tablespoons parsley flakes1 teaspoon garlic powdersalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 400. Spray baking sheet with nonstick spray. Work with 1 phyllo sheet at a time, place on prepared pan, sprinkle with 2 tsp. of parmesan cheese, repeat with remaining sheets and cheese to make 8 layers. Spray outside edge of tart with nonstick spray. Layer the top with 1/2 cup four cheese blend, the sliced onion, the tomatoes, garlic, garlic and herb blend, parsley, and the remaining four cheese blend. Add salt and pepper to taste. Bake until the tart is well browned and the tomatoes are tender, bake 16-18 minutes. Cut tart into 8 pieces and serve. 2 pieces is a regular serving, but we like a little more filling fare, thus the higher calories. As is.. 2 servings , 4 slices each.
Adjust the spices to your preference, or use fat free cheese, we don't have to watch our sodium intake, yet, so I know the levels are to high!! But, its so yummy.

Simple, but be sure to dry the tomato or it will soak the dough. - 7/2/19

I have a great snack idea . Try making a similar tart with ( triscuts) . Top your crackers with tomato sauce , diced tomatoes , herbs , olives and low fat mozzarella . You can toast them in the oven or heat them up in the microwave . - 4/22/19
