Turkey & Wheat Germ Meatloaf

Ingredients
1lb ground turkey1 chicken cube1 c. boiling water1/2 c. bread crumbs1/4 c. wheat germ3 egg whites1 tbsp garlic powder w/ parsley 2 tsp salt1 tsp pepperPam cooking spray1/3 c. ketchup
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add bouillon cube to boiling water. Mix all ingredients together, except ketchup, in a large bowl. Lightly spray loaf pan with cooking spray and place in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, top with ketchup and place back in oven for 15 minutes. Cool 5 minutes, then serve.

    Thought this was a great recipe - took one of the suggestions and used only 3/4 cup of water which seemed to work well. Also added some extra spices and used bbq sauce on top instead of ketchup for additional flavour. - 9/8/12

    I enjoyed this, very tasty and moist. I might cut the water down to 1/2 or 3/4 c though... it bubbled over to the oven floor and had a lot of liquid in the bottom of the loaf pan. - 9/2/08
