this is the first recipe I have found for the bread machine that was not hard as a rock on the outside and doughy on the inside. It was perfect (and makes great croutons). I used bread flour instead of all-purpose. - 1/20/14

This bread was really good but fell and was hard to cut in clean slices. - 1/15/13

Fabulous! I used garlic salt instead of table salt for a little extra flavor and added some Romano cheese (I ran out of Parmesan). Family loved it! - 12/14/12

I like my bread made with whole wheat flour, and a rarely add anything to the dough. But it was my daughter's birthday dinner, and she asked for this recipe. I owe her a thank you. This bread is excellent. We made two loaves for that dinner. The first was half gone before the meal was cooked. - 1/22/12

I did not use the dry milk (because I did not have any) but it still came out great! I baked it in the oven for about 25 minutes at 400 degrees after letting it rise for 40 minutes. The loaf was much bigger than what I normally make in my breadmaker. We will enjoy it for days! - 11/21/08
