Lemon Baked Halibut

2 lbs. halibut1/2 C. finely chopped onion4 large garlic cloves, minced2 Tbsp butter4 tsp parsley, dried1 tsp lemon peel1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp black pepper2 Tbsp lemon juice
Arrange halibut in a oven-proof baking dish. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a frying pan, add butter, onion and garlic; saute until translucent. Remove from heat and stir in parsley, lemon peel, salt and pepper.
Spread mixture over halibut. Sprinkly juice over halibut; being careful not to wash away the mixture.
Bake fish in preheated oven for 20 to 22 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork. Do not overcook.
