Sweet 'n Sour Red Cabbage & Apples

Ingredients
2 cups shredded red cabbage1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and sliced thinly1/2 med onion, sliced thinly1 tsp brown sugar 1 tsp butter1/4 tsp salt1 tsp olive oil3 T vinegar, red wine or cider salt and pepper -- to taste
Directions
Saute cabbage, onion, and apple in olive oil for 5-7 minutes. In another skillet, put brown sugar, salt, vinegar, and butter. Stir until sugar has dissolved. Add shredded cabbage, onion, and apple; mix well and heat through. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serves 4.
